Here I post some random photos, everything from landscape to food (yes!). I use a Nikon D5000, a Canon Ixus155 and a mobile phone on a regular basis. I like HDR (high dynamic range) photography a lot.

HDR Photography: Germany - Schloss Benrath

I've explored the wonders of HDR photography again, this time at castle Benrath in Düsseldorf.

Düsseldorf is the capital of one of Germany's federal states, Nordrhein-Westfalen. The baroque castle was build in 1755 as a place to live for a widow to one of the former electoral princes.

The pond was build with the purpose of reflecting the beautiful facade. The castle's color was described as "bloom of peaches".

This is the main building, the "corps de logis". The castle's architect had studied in Paris.

 The castle's backside.

Peeping into the castle.

Today, the castle houses some very interesting museums.

If you enjoyed my HDR photography, also check out the pictures from Downtown Oslo, Oslo Harbour and Oslo's east end.
